06/01/2013 - Fluke Fishing on OOAL

Well the boys met up for a little early season fluking aboard Out on a Limb, now out of Hoffman's Marina in Brielle, NJ!   Scrub, Lobo, Sam, Scott, and I filled out the charter with JR behind the helm on this adventure with a few pics and lots of laughs...and a seriously sporty ride back in!

Check out the day...

The new and improved, 4 handed hi!

Scott, chillin and ready to roll!

Sam, he has the hair...the sunrise behind him...he's basically an icon of the fluking world and word on the water is he makes some pretty good smoked meats!

Nice sunrise on the way out!

Sam with a real nice one!

They were spitting up some sand eels...

My biggest on the day laying on the deck...

A nice 6.1lb fluke, hit like a brick, awesome!

A little later I caught a 4 spot...

See the 4 spots?  (2 mid body and 2 back of tail)

Scrub...happy to be in the inlet after the ride home!  Check out the video below to see why! haha

Not a bad day on the water for the early season, some real quality fish mixed in.  Total tally was 18 keeper fluke and 1 keeper sea bass!

And a little video of why Scrub was so happy to hit the inlet! haha
