Well, we pulled together a last minute striper trip consisting of just myself, Doug, and JR...to do a little exploration. JR was out the day before and wanted to pick through some spots to see what was around...so Doug and I tagged along for some fun and to shake off the winter dust that accumulated on our rods!

We put a few nets in the livewell but the bait becomes spotty and deep...so we take a ride to another area.

The action died as the wind picked up and we had some heavy wind against tide conditions. We toughed it out for a bit, had some bites and landed a yellow eyed demon before calling it a day and hitting up the dockside bar and grill for some lunch after cleaning the boat!
Nice way to break in the striper season getting out 3 man limit and having some fresh fillets for the week and then some! ;)
